“Drummin’ Dan” grew up in Southern California, professionally playing rock & roll and the blues. During the 60’s and 70’s, his original band graced many Hollywood stages including shows with some of the greats, including Steppenwolf, Iron Butterfly and Jimmy Reed. The band was signed to the American International Record label, where they wrote and recorded a movie soundtrack in addition to several original LP’s before beginning an extended tour of the Western US and Canada. Annually playing hundreds of gigs and travelling thousands of miles in their tour bus, they received critical acclaim and achieved recognition as one of the hottest bands in the Southwest. Dan is a prolific songwriter and has recorded several albums of original songs, in addition to collaboration with other original artists. He is consistently recognized as a “groove drummer”, with the recording sensibilities of playing in the pocket, and always offering the right chops at the right time. He has enjoyed many years of live performing, on his drums, saxophone and singing lead and backing vocals. He is currently a member of the Arizona Songwriters Association and the Arizona Performance Institute.
